FUTURE sports superstars have been presented with special awards at the Helena Romanes School.
Special guest, British Olympic rower Alison Mowbray, was on hand to make sure that the pupils who excelled in all aspects of PE this year were rewarded for their endeavours.
After giving a speech to over 300 pupils and their family members at the annual PE colours evening, she gave the four major awards out to the boys Year Eight football team, 16-year-old Sam Rayner, 13-year-old Charlotte Graham and 12-year-old Ewan Jackson.
Jo Child from the PE department said: "Alison Mowbray's speech covered her sport career from school to the Olympics and was very inspiring. She was an excellent guest.
