A Dunmow man faces trial at Chelmsford Crown Court after an incident in the town last week.
Stephen Debley, 48, of Knights Way, is accused of two offences of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to commit affray, and is further charged with affray and making a threat to kill a police officer.
Debley was remanded in custody on Monday (September 7) at Colchester Magistrates’ Court until November 16, when he is due to appear for a plea and case management hearing.
