THIS year's Dunmow Carnival will be a hair-raising experience for members of Dunmow Round Table.
As well as running the bar and barbecue at this year's event, members will use the date as the start of their next fundraising challenge - they will stop shaving for the seven weeks until their annual fireworks display on November 7.
If you would like to join the beard growing challenge, pop along to the bar during the carnival and pick up a sponsor form, or make a donation on the day to help them on their way. All proceeds will be going to the Prostate Cancer charity.
Dunmow Round Table is also inviting anybody who would like to help out at the bar or barbecue, or is interesting in finding out more about the club, to call 07767 615556.
