If there was ever a reason for a cuppa, then this is it... Scrumptious Tearooms and estate agents Beresfords are launching a campaign to raise money for the youth of Dunmow.

For every cup of tea bought at the Market Place eatery, 10p will go to the mayor’s charity fund, and for every property valuation made by Beresfords, £10 will be added to the pot.

Owner of the tearooms, Jane Turton, said: “It is always great to be able to help our community.”

The campaign will launch on Friday, August 1, and will run until the end of September.

Nicki Treffers, marketing manager for Beresfords, said: “We are very community driven and want to do what we can for the area. The youth project is a great cause.”
