POLICE are urging a man, who was chatting to a young girl in Dukes Nightclub shortly before she was assaulted by a woman, to contact police.
The woman approached a 17-year-old local girl inside the smoking area of Dukes Genesis Nightclub, Chelmsford, at about 2am in the early hours of Saturday January 30, and hit her over the head with a glass bottle causing concussion which was treated at Broomfield Hospital.
The suspect is described as a white, aged approximately 20years, long brown hair, around five feet five inches in height and slim build.
She was wearing a creamy white sleeveless top with a black bow on it and black shorts or a skirt.
The victim was chatting with a man she did not know just prior to the unprovoked attack and police believe he may have some information about the woman suspect. This man or anybody who witnessed the assault or knows who the woman is should contact Pc Ed Massey at Chelmsford Police Station on 0300 333 4444.
