Firefighters were called out on an unusual rescue mission this afternoon (Thursday, May 28) when a paddle of ducklings were found trapped in a drain.
Chimney rods and a hose reel were used to extract the unfortunate fledglings when firefighters arrived at the scene after receiving a call at 12.41pm. They were rescued shortly before 2pm.
