THE B1053, Braintree Road, in Wethersfield is closed to through traffic, from it's junction with the High Street, until Friday April 3 for vital sewer works by Anglian Water to alleviate flooding.
Drivers travelling between Braintree and Saffron Walden should not try to ignore the road closure but use the sign posted diversion route on the A1017 via Sible Hedingham.
