Two drive-in Christmas carol concerts have been held at St Mary's Church and raised over £800.
The concerts on December 12 and 19 featured The Great Dunmow Town Band, The Great Dunmow Community Big Voices and Mezzo Soprano Nancy May. Nancy was also presented with an Above and Beyond Award by Great Dunmow mayor Mike Coleman.
Participants in over 90 cars enjoyed the concert which included readings of the Christmas message from members of St Mary's Church and the mayor.
Santa dropped in and presented two members of the audience with a hamper from Meadowhill Coffee Shop and The Flitch House. The Little Bagel Box served hot drinks and festive bagels.
The Great Dunmow Town Band has also been trying to lift the spirits by performing music in the town square.
