Diners were tickled pink when the Dish Restaurant held a special event to raise money for Breast Cancer Research. The Dish Pink Party raised £1015 in three hours. All the girls who managed to get a table dressed in pink for the occasion, and the whole restaurant was transformed into a pink palace. There were more than a few pink faces when drag queen Tiffany managed to cause embarrassment among all and sundry.

Local businesses came up with raffle prizes, and the restaurant gives special thanks to Occasions Florist and to Tesco, who gave every lady a bag filled with goodies.

Thanks also go to Nailmasters, Profiles, Lloydwaters, Figurewise, Starrlight, Jacks, Brights, Maggies Trinkets - and to Dish staff who donated their tips for the evening.

Dish is hoping to repeat the event in about six months.
