A Cyclist in his late 20s has been left fighting for his life in an intensive care unit at Broomfield Hospital following a crash in Dunmow.
The man, from Elsenham, crashed into a roadside sign on Friday night at around 8.20pm, whilst cycling on The Downs in the Essex town.
Police believe that no other vehicles or people were involved in the crash but are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and help them find the cause of the accident.
