A COUPLE celebrating their Ruby wedding anniversary this year are trying to trace old friends.
Chris and Steve Clements are organising a get-together with friends and family but have been unsuccessful in contacting three people.
Mr Clements is requesting the help of any kind Broadcast readers who may know their whereabouts, by asking them to get in touch. He said: "My wife was born and lived in Dunmow, in 1968, until her late teens. We were married at St Mary's Church, Church End, and we would like to invite old friends to our Ruby wedding anniversary celebrations later this year. We would be grateful to anyone that can help us locate them."
The sought-after three are Carol Copping, who lived near the forge at Church End, and Roy and Monica Godbold who lived on St Edmunds Fields before they emigrated to South Africa.
