THREE-thousand new homes are to be built in Uttlesford and the district council is asking for opinions on siting them.
The East of England Regional Plan states the district has to build 8000 new homes between 2000 and 2021.
Although the vast majority of these homes have already either been built or planned, UDC still needs to find locations for 3,000 of them.
Several possibilities are being considered, including in Saffron Walden, Dunmow and Stansted.
