Stansted Airport police were alarmed today (Wednesday) after a man was spotted with a gun-shaped phone case in his pocket.
The force’s Twitter account posted images of the iPhone case in the man’s pocket with a note saying: “You have a split second decision to make ... #WhatWouldYouDo #joblikenoother.”
They added: “This is what was in the back pocket ... An #iPhone case. Someone decided to put themselves in such a situation today.”
The account said they would most likely deal with the man with a section five public order offence or possession of imitation firearm in a public place.
A man was also stopped this morning after taking a lock knife into the airport.
