Travellers who pitched up at Dunmow last week have been moved on.
The group which took up residency in Woodside Way has now left – the second time in a month travellers set up at the site.
Uttlesford District Council has now arranged to concrete blocks at the access point to prevent them from returning.
A spokesman for the council added the blocks would be replaced with a more secure barrier, which will prevent future encampments.
