Arguments for and against renewable energy sources, as well as countryside intrusion on greenfield sites both visually and with regard to noise levels, proximity to major roads etc need to be considered. A planning application will be submitted this month.Christmas Lights: EACH - East Anglian Children's Hospices will benefit from the £1,400 collection for the Christmas lights extravaganza, produced by Old House Road, Plumian Way, Goodliffe Avenue and Field End, led by Celia Daniels and Janet Pettit. As many will have seen on TV, EACH is having to cut back drastically on the vital services for families with children with life-threatening illnesses, due mainly to the loss of its lottery grant and a drop in donations.Tuneful Tots: This fun-filled music and movement session for children aged 0-5 years accompanied by an adult, will be held weekly during term time, starting this week. Sessions are held on Thursdays, starting at 1.30pm and finishing at 2.45pm, with refreshments provided in the small fee. Dates for this half-term are January 12, 19, 21 and February 2 and 9.Know about drugs: A meeting has been arranged at the Meadow School on Tuesday (17th) from 7-8.30pm to inform about drugs and your child.
