CLASSICAL music fans have been busily booking tickets for this year's Macmillan Cancer Support's Christmas Carol Concert.
The evening at Chelmsford Cathedral on Wednesday December 6 will see the first ever performance of The Marvellous Birth.
Bob Chilcott, the well-known British composer has written this carol and will be performing with the locally renowned Waltham Singers, who will sing throughout the evening.
Lindsay Hurrell, Essex community fund-raiser said: "This concert has always been special, but with Bob Chilcott performing this carol adds the extra sparkle to the evening."
