Elsenham Flower Show Society treasurer, Peter Johnson, hailed the event a huge success.
He said: "The flower and vegetable judges, from Essex Guild of Horticultural Judges, tend to judge on the standard of Royal Horticultural Society rules - and they thought the entries were very good.
"But the show in general attracted interest from a wide range and was very well supported.
"The show is for the benefit for all village residents and is something they can join in with. The nice thing is they can enter every class or just one.
