THE final two 'All I want for Christmas' events have now taken place at Lakeside and Great Dunmow where over 80 people in total posted a Christmas wish list.

Police authority staff and local officers talked to shoppers at Lakeside and the final event took place on Christmas Eve where the chairman of Essex Police Authority, Robert Chambers, attended the campaign in Tesco, Great Dunmow along with local officers and staff from the police authority.

This brings the grand total to over 1,000 wish lists being posted throughout the campaign either at one of the events or on the website. These wish lists will now be reviewed and the results released shortly.

Press and PR officer for Essex Police Authority, Jenna Smith, said: "The campaign has gone extremely well and we are really grateful to everybody who took the time to come and have a chat with us and fill in a wish list, your views are extremely valuable to us.

"It has been really interesting to find out what the people of Essex want from us in the coming year.
