THE Dunmow Society launched its Christmas card for 2006, this week.
This year's card features a suitably seasonal photograph of a snow covered Doctor's Pond.
Society secretary Christine Minton said: "Any profits we make from the sale of these cards will be used to promote the preservation, protection, development and improvement of historic and environmental features of Dunmow."
The card is on display in the window of Bookbinder and Restoration in the High Street, Dunmow where it is also for sale. The cards cost 50p and are also available by contacting Mrs Minton on 01371 873859.
