A ramble on Saturday when 13 people walked 13 miles has raised nearly £1,000 for the BBC’s Children in Need Appeal.
Colleagues from EV Connectors in Great Bardfield, suppliers of cables for electric cars walked in a circular trek from The Vine Pub in Vine Street in the village.
Vivienne Kerry, business development manager said: “The sun shone and we had a great time, managing to take a couple of pit stops en route. We began at the Vine and went to the Horse and Groom, Cornish Hall End and The Fox, Finchingfield, ending back at The Vine. We are all delighted with the donations we have received and would like to thank everyone who has supported us. So far, the total is £987, including GiftAid.
