CHEERLEADERS?from Dunmow's Rumblebees scored top places in a competition held in Brighton last week.
'The Bees' were up against stiff competition in the event held at the Brighton Centre on the seafront and yet they still managed outstanding results.
They came first in the Junior Novice section and second in the Senior Dance section.
Delighted with the performance fund-raising chairman Fiona Messer said: "It was a long journey down, but well worth the trip."
The squad is coached by Phoebe Todd and Beverly Gilmour who had nothing but praise for all of the 39 girls and three boys involved saying the cheerleaders had performed extremely well.
The squad is looking to expand and is planning on holding try-outs in January 2008, so any wannabe cheerleaders watch this space for further details.
