POLICE are appealing for information and witnesses following the theft of ornamental statues in Little Dunmow.

Between 6pm on June 6 and 1pm on June 7 suspects stole two bronze statues of deer from a garden in Grange Lane. The estimated total value of the statues is in the low four figures.

Anyone with information about this crime to contact Dunmow station, where the investigating officer is Pc Graeme Gordon, on 0300 3334444, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
