May is the first full month of the 2007 outdoor bowls season and very full it is too as Duxford Bowls Club average three or four League Cup games each week throughout the month! The league games are mostly in the evenings but they do compete in one mixed league, which normally plays on Wednesday afternoons. Everyone is invited to come along on Sunday May 20 to a Bowls Drive with cream teas commencing at 2.30pm. There will be an inclusive charge of £5. More details from Peter Richards on 01223 575225.
