A GRENADE has been found in a container near to a children s nursery in Great Leighs. Fire crews were called to School Lane after an 81mm rocket propelled grenade was found in the back of a storage container. A 200m exclusion zone has been set up around

A GRENADE has been found in a container near to a children's nursery in Great Leighs.

Fire crews were called to School Lane after an 81mm rocket propelled grenade was found in the back of a storage container.

A 200m exclusion zone has been set up around the area and police are evacuating the nearby nursery, as well as neighbouring properties.

Bomb disposal experts arrived at 1.30pm and are dealing with the device.
