A BBC One celebrity stepped into a green-thinking primary school to lend a hand with opening a new vegetable garden.
TV gardener Christine Walkden from The One Show stopped by at Felsted Primary School on Monday April 19 for the official opening of the new patch.
With the help of pupils and sponsors, including airport owners BAA and members of the community, she planted a fruit tree to mark the occasion before cutting a ribbon.
The garden is already in use and some of the children have taken advantage by planting their own courgettes which they grew at home over the Easter holidays.
