POLICE are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Braintree.
At 9.30pm on Saturday (Oct 29) a man went into Ladbrokes on Cressing Road and demanded money and threatened staff with a knife. A sum of cash was handed over and the man made off on foot along Coggeshall Road in the direction of Tesco.
The suspect is described as white, aged about 25, 5’7” tall, wearing a dark jacket and dark baseball cap and he also had a scarf across his face. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Chelmsford CID target team on 101 or Crimestopppers on 0800 555111.
