Our splash on this website - and on the front page of this today's Dunmow Broadcast - was news that a done deal has been agreed to convert the ancient Doctors Pond into the UK's first ever indoor natural ice-skating rink.
Dunmow Town councillor Clive Smith agreed to play along, but the Danish company mentioned in the story was just the words April Fool spelt backwards!
