Applications open for first-ever Great Dunmow Soapbox Race

Applications for the first Great Dunmow Soapbox Race are now open.
On May 27 2018, 60 teams including schools, colleges, local businesses and daring individuals will battle it out to be named champion.
Spectators are promised a fun-filled day which will see jumps, near misses and possibly some spectacular crashes around the course.
The event is being held in the name of the Great Dunmow Round Table and all proceeds will be donated to the community.
The day will be free to attend for spectators and there will be plenty of other entertainment to enjoy such as activities for children and food and drink.
For participants, there is an entry fee of £60 per team of four people.
