POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision which happened in Great Bardfield.

The single vehicle collision occurred in Dunmow Road at 3pm on Sunday March 29 and involved a 36-year-old man from Hackney, East London, who was riding a black Honda motorbike.

The man is being treated at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford and is in a critical but stable condition.
