Officers are appealing for information about a collision on the A120 in Felsted.
The crash happened around 4.30pm yesterday, Wednesday, September 26.
Police received reports that a white Vauxhall van collided with a large green tractor and trailer after swerving to avoid a black Vauxhall Corsa.
The collision caused the van to roll over in the carriageway. The driver was taken to hospital and later released with cuts and bruises.
The Corsa failed to stop at the scene and police are appealing for information or dash cam footage.
