FROM December 13 the new section of White Street car park in Great Dunmow will be open to all season permit holders.
Car users have been advised by Uttlesford District Council to ensure that vehicles are parked in the correct bays from this date to avoid parking fines.
The Angel Lane area, which is just off the High Street has also had resurfacing work completed this week to make the path safer for people going to the town's market stalls on a Tuesday.
This move follows complaints lodged by The Dunmow Society action group nearly two years ago.
