THE volcanic ash cloud drifting over the UK has resulted in the ongoing closure of UK airspace and forced the cancellation and suspension of all Monarch flights departing today (Monday April 19).

A total of 293 Monarch flights have been cancelled between Thursday (April 15) and Sunday (April 18), with a further 76 planned cancellations today.

All passengers booked to travel on cancelled Monarch scheduled flights are entitled to a full refund or to rebook at no cost onto an alternative flight.
