Firefighters were called to a car on fire on the A120 near Great Dunmow on Sunday, November 8 just before 3pm.
Crews from Dunmow, Stansted and Newport attended the incident and used two hose reels to extinguish the blaze by 3.16pm.
No one was reported as being injured in the incident.
