POLICE detectives are appealing for vital information following two separate house burglaries in south Uttlesford.

In an attack on Friday March 12, thieves broke into a house on Church Road, Great Hallingbury, in broad daylight, and stole jewellery and electricals valued at £9000.

Two days later, thieves struck at a house on Station Road in Takeley between 3.40pm and 8pm, causing £400 worth of damage, and made off with £50 cash.
