Felsted Choral Society entertained its audience with a classical music concert and what they claimed is the 'tallest tower of strawberries in the world'.

The concert on Saturday, June 29 featured a varied programme of music from composers John Rutter, Palestrina, Tallis, Haydn, Mozart, Sarah Quartel, Judith Weir and more.

A spokesperson for the society said: "Thomas Duchan, the new musical director, bought out clarity, clear diction and dynamics to every setting.

"The assembly of dedicated singers is a choir to watch and follow."

The evening finished with Handel's Hallelujah Chorus, and the audience then enjoyed the tower of strawberries with cream and free-flowing prosecco.

Felsted Choral Society's next concert will be a performance of Mozart's Requiem on Saturday, November 23.
