Teams raced against the clock in their handmade vehicles at this year's Great Dunmow Soapbox Race.
The race, which took place on Sunday, May 5, is the second-largest soapbox race in the UK.
Competitors faced jumps and the slippery blizzard alley, driving through clouds of foam and bubbles on their way to the finish line.
