CraftAbility in Thaxted welcomed Essex Therapy Dog Dorothy to meet service users at the charity.

The seven-year-old golden retriever visited the charity's centre on Thursday, February 22, along with her owner Vicky.

While Dorothy was getting fussed over by each member, they reminisced about their own pets, past and present.

A spokesperson for the charity said: "The visit was just after lunch and Dorothy made sure everyone had as many cuddles and strokes as they wanted.
