A pop-up café will be held in Dunmow to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
'The Café Opposite the Alley' will be held on the forecourt of The Chequers in Stortford Road from 10am to midday on Friday, September 29.
There will be coffee, tea, homemade cakes and a raffle, and Mike Studd will play his accordion to entertain the visitors.
Mayor Cllr Alex Armstrong will officially open the event, and Town Crier Jody Huizar will encourage people in the town centre to come along.
