A 36-tonne mobile crane was rescued from a ditch yesterday between Leaden Roding and High Easter.

The crane left the road on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 9, and came to rest on some trees at the other side of the ditch.

A recovery company arrived with their own crane to lift out the stuck crane, avoiding telegraph poles while winching the crane up to the road.
