Two men were seen acting suspiciously in Great Canfield, and police are appealing for information.
Reports were made to Essex Police on March 17. On at least one occasion, the men asked for directions but did not take the route which was provided.
Police have now identified a car of specific interest to the investigation, and are asking residents of Great Canfield and surrounding villages for information on a black Audi TT.

Anyone who noticed the car being driven by two men, who may have had paint on their clothing and asked for directions on Friday, March 17, is asked to get in touch.
Any information could be valuable to the police investigation - whether you gave the men directions or saw a conversation take place between them and someone else.
