THIS 26-tonne refuse vehicle came off the road near Lindsell just before Christmas.
The Uttlesford District Council-owned kitchen waste truck stopped to ensure everyone was okay, but had to then continue to ensure it completed its round.
A council spokesman said: “The refuse vehicle was pulled back on to the road with a tow truck from Nashes of Braintree and a local resident also came to assist the crew.
“Our refuse collection crews are a determined lot and once they had got the vehicle back on to the road, they climbed back on board to complete their round.”
