POLICE are appealing for information and witnesses following a commercial burglary in Witham.
Between around 2pm on November 26 and 8am on November 28 unknown suspects gained entry to an industrial unit in Briarsford industrial estate, Perry Road by cutting a fence and tampering with security equipment, including cameras, causing damage estimated at around 150.
The unknown suspects then stole organic cosmetics, including branded ZUM and Fleurs de Bach products, with an estimated total value in the low five figures.
Investigating officer Pc Nathan Williamson said: “Organic cosmetics are expensive, niche, products, and it may be that the thieves attempt to sell the items through the illegal economy. If you are offered ZUM or Fleurs de Bach products for sale in the street or in your local pub, please consider whether they may have been stolen. If you are suspicious, please contact Essex Police on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
