A four-year-old boy was taken to Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford on Monday (July 27) with a facial injury after receiving a glancing blow from a car in St Edmunds Lane, Dunmow.
The incident took place at around 4.40pm in the afternoon, and his injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
