A man who died at the scene of a four-motorcycle crash in Sible Hedingham just over a week ago has been identified by police.
Craig Currie, 22, from Gateshead, died after the collision in Wethersfield Road on Sunday, June 5.
Another motorcyclist, a 51-year-old man from Laindon, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for treatment. He remains in a critical but stable condition.
A 53-year-old man from Basildon was taken to Colchester Hospital and treated for minor injuries, but has since been discharged.
Police say enquiries are still ongoing and any witnesses who have not already come forward are asked to contact PC Darrin Lee on 101 or email collisionappeal@essex.pnn.police.uk.
