The Bell pub in Great Bardfield raised more than £800 for charity after catering for cyclists who were taking part in a 200km night ride.
The pub, in Dunmow Road, put on refreshments for riders in the Dunwich Dynamo event, where cyclists travel from Hackney, in east London, to Dunwich, on the Suffolk coast.
The pub asked for donations for Marie Curie, and raised £826 for the charity which supports people and families affected by terminal illness.
Sharon Alford, landlady, said: “I’d like to thank Mick Fellows, Mandy and Dave Slow, Ian Holmes, Martin, Nick and Emily, and all the staff at the Bell for their hard work in organising and supporting the event.”
