BROOMFIELD Hospital has re-opened its doors to visitors
The hospital has been closed to visitors for nearly four weeks following an outbreak of norovirus.
But the decision has been taken today (Wednesday February 24) to re-open the hospital to visitors.
A spokesman said: "Currently, we still have one ward closed, due to norovirus, but have decided it is in the best interests of patients and their families, to reopen the hospital, apart from the affected ward.
"We ask the public to remain vigilant and not to visit if they have the virus or have been in contact with anyone who has in the last 72 hours.
