Pack up your picnic and get yourself down to Audley End House on August 1 to see the most sensational proms performance of the summer.

Because this week we have teamed up with Audley End House near Saffron Walden to offer five of our readers the chance to see opera superstar Lesley Garrett perform at the Last Night of the Proms in this spectacular location.

Gates open at 2.30pm so you can sit back and enjoy the grounds of the beautiful house before the concert begins at 7.30pm. Garden furniture can be taken into the grounds, but barbecues are not permitted.

The celebrated star of television as well as the stage will be joined by the sensational winners of BBC’s Last Choir Standing: Only Men Aloud, magnificent tenor Wynne Evans and the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.

The evening will feature a dramatic fireworks finale, a rousing Spitfire display - marking the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain - and all of your Last Night favourites including Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory.
