BBC Two Tuesday, September 28, 9.30pm
BAFT-award winning comedy duo, Paul Whitehouse and Harry Enfield return with a colourful variety of new characters, and one or two old favourites, in a new series.
Co-written by Harry and Paul, this new BBC Two series also features appearances from distinguished comics including Lenny Henry, Charlie Higson and Simon Day.
Viewers will be introduced to The Benefits, a south London dysfunctional family who cause havoc wherever they go. Other characters include Gerald, the forties drunkard and Gabbatore, a corrupt Italian politician.
In the first episode The Benefits disrupt a peaceful library and Harry and Paul revisit the famous diner scene from When Harry Met Sally.
