White Lies - Ritual
WHITE LIES follow up their widely acclaimed debut album To Lose a Life with a much anticipated new release Ritual.
The British indie group from Ealing in London have spent the last 12 months playing stadium and arena shows as main support to Coldplay, Kings of Leon and Muse.
Recorded at the Assault and Battery studious in London, the trio have teamed up with producer Alan Moulder (Smashing Pumpkins, My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails) and Max Dingel to master the 10-track album.
The unique opening track ‘Is Love’ starts with a quietly ominous Nurenburg stomp, a few mandolins and a vocal and lyric straight from the snowy wastes of Kilimanjaro.
Influences from the likes of Julian Cope, Depeche Mode, Gary Numan and Psychedelic Furs are evident throughout the album.
Due out on Monday (January 17), the new offering features the band’s latest single ‘Bigger than Us.’
