FIREFIGHTERS hared up the M11 this morning after they received a call that a van had caught fire on the northbound carriageway.
FIREFIGHTERS hared up the M11 this morning after they received a call that a van had caught fire on the northbound carriageway.
Crews from Newport, Saffron Walden and Cambridge were summoned shortly before 8.30am and used two hoses to extinguish the blaze within half an hour.
The vehicle was situated between junctions 9 and 10 but traffic is now moving freely again. No one was hurt in the incident.
